Habek is a Hiphop "foundation" in the making. Pretty much the underground uniting powers to make bigger stuff happen.

Habek is focusing on the elements of hiphop and make it happen, from recording to festivals, art shows, dance, the whole shabang...

yours truly ofcourse is part of the "art crew"

I dont wanna start a rant about the hiphop culture and how whatever the fuck's on MTV is not showing what it really is.. but in case you didnt know there's way more to hiphop than 50 cent...

Hiphop is an Art movement wheter it's MCing, dance, art or DJing

and that's what we're about!

and the way it's looking now Goverment funded as well!

the word "Habek" is short for/slang "Hou je Bek" which translates to "shut your mouth"

the final logo will probably not feature the character, but I threw it in cuz I had nothing better to do... hahaha

Habek Logo Design + Character by *skaffa is one graphic and visually appealing logo that brings on the sense and feel of of hip hop quite easily. Hi can anyone please design me a logo, im starting a new business and i cant think of any ideas , its a woodcraft business, and i want woody woodpecker as the logo, with a hammer in the one hand and a electric drill in the other hand with a carpentry belt around his waist and if possible a construction helmet on his head??? The name of the business is woody woodcraft?? Please guyz, can some one help me out???

haha. cool! i thought the zipper on the tape was really clever.

man.. the history of hiphop is basically like starwars to me - you've got the syth (gangsta rap) and the jedi (real djs who are about the music, breakers, and basically what is now the whole positive underground movement). i'm just waiting for some epic clash, and have balance restored to the force.
you gimme a name, and it fits almost perfectly with the whole thing.

haha....... didn't mean to geek-out so hard on you.
anyways, "Hou je Bek"?? doesn't that translate more to... "Shut the EFF UP!!" i know literally it's like "shut your beak" but dutch is weird like that sometimes. if i remember right, telling somebody to get cancer is REALLY vulgar too. just curious.

I just wish the books were more attractive. And I wanna join this group, i listen to underground rap and hip hop, and I miss the old days when rapping was like siting poetry. When hip hop and rap was about something other than how nice your car is, or how you go to the club, and fuck a girl. I miss the days when hip hop and rap was a way of expression, a form of art and not just a way to make money
