So this friday the Habek "foundation" is kicking off.
everything is coming together! there's even gonna be a building for all of us soon! how awesome, people with the love for hiphop all brought together at one place! so yeah, i've been making a lot of promotional material for them, including the website. you can see a lil' preview of the website here too, it's gonna be online in full effect tomorrow. I can tell you that it looks fucking sweet (it's all animated and what not) I'll try and explain what habek is in a few short sentences. - habek is a foundation that has to do with all the elements of hiphop (rap, Dj, dancing, art) - Hiphop has been fucked up by comercial radio and television stations, most people think there's nothing more to hiphop than 50 cent. - habek is not about this - the "underground" in the dutch scene is combining forces under the name Habek to show the world there's more to hiphop. - there's gonna be a lot of stuff happening from here: mixtapes, albums, parties, workshops, art shows. you name it and we'll probably do it. so yeah... that's it for now hahaha i'll let you guys know when the website is online! peeeaaaaaaace |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
