here's the fronts of some flyers I designed recently.
Doing a lot of this stuff now and I really enjoy it!

If all goes well our studio ( [link] ) will finaly have a website up next week or so. from that point on I wont upload studio related stuff to DA anymore, I kinda want to keep this place for my personal stuff.

but here's some flyer designs nonetheless....

1 Whadap met No Homo ?!

translates to: "whats up with No homo ?! (O RLY)
Flyer for a public debate about how the hip hop scene deals with gay people. How it's a pretty masculine (anti-gay even sometimes) scene, while on the other hand guys like 50 cent are portrayed all naked and oiled up on the front of their albums.

please note that I personally have no problem what so ever with gay people. You gotta do what you gotta do.


2. Wax and the City 2008
what's there to say? annual Turntable competition/showcase party. Don't know what turntablism is?

3 Appa & Stropstrikkers
Dutch hip hop. Appa i don't know much about, but Stropstrikkers are pretty cool. they're quite rowdy and oldskool. check em out here: [link]
stropstrikkers translates to "hangmen / people who tie nooses" hahaha



so that's it for now... gotto give a big shout out to ~monk-art for giving me quite the helpful advise on the shadings on flyer 2 and 3.
